pigment laser

Pigment laser works by very short pulse durations of 1 nanosecond to target pigmentation in the skin from either internal or external causes. The pulse is so short it is measured by sound waves rather than heat and because it only hits the targeted pigment, the process minimises damage to healthy, surrounding skin. This results in the effective clearance of abnormal pigment.

In Bowral we use the Picosecond laser.

The benefit of using the picosecond laser is that it requires fewer treatments, for example, to remove tattoos.

We treat spider veins, rosacea, facial or nasal blood vessels, spider or cherry angioma, venous lakes, melasma and a range of other conditions. Pigment lasers are particularly useful for removing tattoos.
