Mohs surgery
Mohs is a highly advanced skin cancer procedure that minimises the damage to healthy tissue, has the highest success rate and means you get the results of your skin cancer treatment on the day.
Cosmetic Dermatology
Our practice provides consultations about reducing deep lines and wrinkles as there are a number of different treatment options currently available.
Fraxel laser
The Fraxel laser works by sending little columns of laser down into the skin, treating a fraction of the tissue at once. The treatment smooths wrinkles and scars, fades brown spots, and resurfaces the skin tone to reveal fresh, healthy, glowing skin.
Vascular laser
Vascular laser works by emitting a beam of light which is attracted to the blood found in the vessels. The vessel is heated up, causing it to constrict and close.
Hair removal laser
Hair removal laser works by emitting a pulse of light that is absorbed by the melanin in the hair follicle. The hair follicle is heated which causes damage to the shaft and bulb and impedes its ability to regrow.
Photodynamic therapy
Photodynamic therapy is a common procedure for treating a superficial skin cancer and solar keratoses. The lesion is identified and marked out and the surface is gently scraped to remove any crusting or scaliness on the lesion.
Narrowband UVB
Narrowband UVB is a form of phototherapy that works by treating the skin with a narrowband of ultraviolet radiation. It is particularly effective for the treatment of psoriasis and eczema and for a range of other conditions.
Pigment (PICO second) laser
Pigment laser works by very short pulse durations of 1 nanosecond to target pigmentation in the skin from either internal or external causes. We treat spider veins, rosacea, facial or nasal blood vessels, spider or cherry angioma, venous lakes, melasma and a range of other conditions.
